"Otis Clapp put Majestik and I in touch with Millzmatic for Bring It Back. The concept was Majestik's. The collaborations were very deliberate. I wanted Otis and Warren Britt (The Underdogz) because they did the collab album idea a few years before Majestik and I. I wanted it to feel like a passing of the torch. I also wrote the hook for Breezy Ballad who sang the pants off of the record!" -SoSoon

"The horns in Bring It Back are what inspired me to think of the concept. It just felt like a reminiscing type of song. After listening to it a few times, I thought to myself how can we bring back elements of the Golden Era of Hip-Hop without sounding like we as emcees are stuck in that era?" - Majestik Originality
